Q: How do I create an account? A: Click "Sign-Up", then click "CREATE NEW" and fill out the registration form details including choosing your member type: Fan, Comedian, Venue, or Event Organizer. Each membership type offers different features tailored to your needs. Once you've filled out the information completely click "SIGN UP" and you'll receive an email that allows you to activate your account. In case you don't see your activation email, make sure to CHECK YOUR SPAM.

Q: What are the benefits of creating an account? A: Currently, accounts let you set your member type and preferences for future features. As we expand the platform, account holders will get early access to enhanced search filtering, personalized recommendations, booking tools, and other features we're developing including rewards

Q: Is League of Comedy free to use? A: Yes! All features are currently free during our MVP launch phase. We're focused on building the best comedy discovery platform and will introduce premium features in the future.

Q: Can I save or bookmark my favorite comedians or venues?

A: Account features like favorites and bookmarks are coming in future updates. For now, you can bookmark specific search results or comedian profiles directly in your browser.

Q: Why don't I see a show I know is happening? A: We're continuously expanding our show coverage by adding more ticketing sources. If you don't see a specific show, it may not be listed on the platforms we currently partner with, but we're working to capture more events.

Q: Are the ticket prices shown accurate? A: Ticket prices come from the ticketing platforms and reflect what we synced during our last update. Final prices may vary due to fees or price changes at checkout.

Q: Do you only have shows in the cities shown in the filter buttons? A: Not at all! Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Boston, San Francisco, and Austin are featured because they're major comedy hubs, but we have shows across the country. Search by the name of any Venue, City, or State or browse "All Shows" to see everything available.

Q: What if I need to return or exchange tickets? A: The League of Comedy is not responsible for any purchases made through our partner ticketing sites. All ticket refunds and exchanges must be handled directly through the ticketing platform where you purchased them. Each platform has its own refund policy.

Q: How can I find specific comedians? A: Browse our comedy by searching for comedians or using our A-Z alphabetical filters. On mobile, tap the A-Z dropdown for easy filtering. Each comedian card includes their available photo and social media links.

Q: Are these comedians members of your platform? A: Our comedian directory is a curated resource featuring publicly available information and social media links to help with comedy discovery. Comedians can claim and enhance their profiles by creating accounts, but most listings are currently informational directories rather than managed profiles.

Q: Can I search for comedians by comedy style or genre? A: Currently, you can search by name or browse alphabetically. Enhanced filtering by style, location, and other details will be available as comedians join the platform and complete their profiles.

Q: Why don't comedian profiles show their upcoming shows? A: We're still building the connection between our comedian roster and show database. For now, search the comedian's name in our shows directory to find their events. Better integration is coming as we expand the platform.

Venues that create accounts can build comprehensive profiles with photos, amenities details, parking information, and direct control over how their venue appears to comedy fans.

Q: Can I update my venue information myself? A: Our venue directory currently includes basic information gathered from ticketing platforms. Venues can create accounts to claim and enhance their profiles with photos, detailed amenities, special features, and direct management of their listing information.

Q: What information should I include in my venue profile? A: Include your venue name, address, photos of your space, seating capacity, amenities (parking, food/drinks, accessibility features), contact information, and any special features that make your venue unique for comedy shows.

Q: Do you charge fees for listing shows? A: There are no upfront fees to list shows or create venue profiles. We earn a small commission when tickets are purchased through our platform links, similar to other discovery platforms.
