A little bit about ourselves
LoC History
League of Comedy began in 2017 as an open mic in Los Angeles, founded by comedian Granison Crawford and night life operations manager Cory Eckstein. What started as a single monthly show quickly grew into multiple showcases and expanded to a Northern California tour by 2019.
When the pandemic paused live performances in 2020, we saw an opportunity to evolve. We asked ourselves: could we create something that connects everyone in the comedy ecosystem, not just for our shows, but for the entire industry?
Drawing from Granison's experience as both a performer and booker, and Cory's background in venue operations, we designed a platform that addresses the needs of fans, comedians, venues, and event bookers alike.
Our experiences on all sides of live comedy have shaped not just what we're building, but the values that guide us as we create the future of the comedy industry.
